Dare I say it, Sue has the Pegasus Passion like all of the Team.
This is what is needed to run a small charity in 2020. Knowing “What the children want” is Half of the Battle.
Listening to what the children want is easy. Finding the Money to provide it. “IS HARD”
Sue is The heart of Pegasus. Fundraiser, volunteer coordinator, wife, mother and grandmother! and have been the Chair for over 20 years. Passionate and dedicated to the young people attending the scheme, Sue has moved Pegasus with the times, evolving it into a modern play scheme which fulfils Ofsted criteria and which provides a necessary and much-renowned resource for a wealth of members in the local community. Sue takes volunteering to new heights and will never turn down a phone call, enquiry or meeting. She works tirelessly to secure year on year funding and works actively with social services collaborating with them to ensure we are providing the best possible resource.
In June 2017 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth gave orders that and M.B.E. be appointed to Sue for her Services to Children With Disabilities.

Pegasus Playscheme provides Good Quality support and services for children with a variety of severe and complex disabilities. We operate a 3 week Summer Playscheme, offering activities for children with disabilities and severe learning difficulties. Each child is supported by a local able-bodied teenager.
