Having heard about the great charity work Jamie’s family do, Efe has pledged to give all the money he and his five employees earned to Pegasus Playscheme – a charity which puts on a three-week summer playscheme for children with disabilities.
Efe said his act of kindness is also in support of World Downs Syndrome Day, on March 21. He said: “Jamie has been coming here since I opened two and a half years ago. “I wanted to do something like this for him.”
Kings raised £861 on the day.
Pegasus Chair Sue, of St Margaret’s, was awarded an MBE last year for her services to children with disabilities. She dedicated the award to her son Jamie who she called “the light of her life”.He attended Buckingham Palace with his mum but not before a special shave and haircut from Efe.
